Trong hai ngày 26 và 27/7, tại Trung tâm Dịch vụ và Thi đấu thể thao, Ban Chỉ đạo vận động hiến máu tình nguyện (HMTN) tỉnh Thái Nguyên phối hợp với Ban Tổ chức Hành trình Đỏ Trung ương tổ chức khai mạc Chương trình Hành trình Đỏ 2022. Đây là lần thứ 8 tỉnh Thái Nguyên tham gia tổ chức chương trình Hành trình Đỏ.
Tham dự chương trình có ông Trần Quốc Hùng, Phó Chủ tịch Trung ương Hội Chữ thập đỏ Việt Nam; PGS.TS. Nguyễn Quang Tùng, Phó Giám đốc Trung tâm Mấu quốc gia, Viện Huyết học – Truyền máu Trung ương; ông Đặng Xuân Trường, Phó Chủ tịch Thường trực UBND tỉnh, Trưởng ban Chỉ đạo vận động HMTN tỉnh cùng các cơ quan, đợn vị và cá nhân liên quan.
Với chủ đề “Thái Nguyên ngàn trái tim hồng”, chương trình Hành trình Đỏ tại Thái Nguyên diễn ra trong 2 ngày 26-27/7, với nhiều hoạt động sôi nổi, ý nghĩa và thiết thực. Mục tiêu tuyên truyền cho khoảng trên 15.000 lượt người; vận động khoảng 3.000 người đăng ký hiến máu và phấn đấu trong tháng 7, tháng cao điểm hưởng ứng “Hành trình Đỏ” sẽ tiếp nhận được trên 2.500 đơn vị máu.
Phát biểu tại chương trình ông Đặng Xuân Trường, Phó Chủ tịch Thường trực UBND tỉnh, Trưởng ban Chỉ đạo vận động HMTN tỉnh cho biết: “Chương trình “Hành trình Đỏ – Kết nối dòng máu Việt” đã góp phần nâng cao nhận thức của các tầng lớp nhân dân, đặc biệt là người dân ở khu vực miền núi, vùng sâu vùng xa về hiến máu tình nguyện; mở rộng được đối tượng tham gia hiến máu”.
Đồng chí Phó Chủ tịch tỉnh khẳng định: “Chương trình chính là “mồi lửa đỏ” lan tỏa và lôi cuốn mọi người dân sẵn sàng hiến máu cứu người, thúc đẩy phong trào lên cao trên địa bàn tỉnh…”
Trong thời gian qua, cùng với sự vào cuộc tích cực và trách nhiệm của các cơ quan thành viên Ban chỉ đạo vận động hiến máu tình nguyện tỉnh, đặc biệt là sự hưởng ứng của đông đảo các tầng lớp nhân dân, phong trào vận động HMTN của tỉnh đã có sự phát triển rõ rệt.
Qua đó, Thái Nguyên đã trở thành một trong những tỉnh có kết quả tiếp nhận máu lớn trong cả nước, góp phần quan trọng trong công tác cứu chữa bệnh và chăm sóc sức khỏe nhân dân trên địa bàn tỉnh cũng như các vùng lân cận.
Tính riêng 6 tháng đầu năm 2022, tỉnh Thái Nguyên đã tổ chức 29 đợt hiến máu, thu được gần 9.200 đơn vị máu.
Anh Nguyễn Quang Đông, Chủ tịch Hội sinh viên Trường Đại học Thái Nguyên cho biết: Hiến máu là việc làm vô cùng cần thiết, đặc biệt trong hoàn cảnh cấp cứu và điều trị người bệnh. Tôi nghĩ đây không chỉ là việc làm của các bạn trẻ mà là trách nhiệm của mọi tầng lớp trong xã hội. Nếu có đủ điều kiện, chúng ta hãy tham gia bởi hiến máu là hành động mang ý nghĩa nhân văn cao đẹp.
