Tối 11/8, tại huyện Võ Nhai, UBND huyện Võ Nhai phối hợp với Sở Công Thương tỉnh tổ chức khai mạc Lễ hội Võ Nhai mùa na chín, Chương trình xúc tiến, kết nối tiêu thụ sản phẩm na và nông sản tỉnh Thái Nguyên năm 2023. Dự Chương trình có đồng chí Mai Thị Thuý Nga, Phó chủ tịch HĐND tỉnh, lãnh đạo các sở, ngành, địa phương trong tỉnh và đại diện một số tỉnh lân cận.
Võ Nhai là huyện vùng cao duy nhất của tỉnh Thái Nguyên, toàn huyện có trên 90% dân số sống ở nông thôn, chủ yếu là sản xuất nông, lâm nghiệp. Với trên 1.000 ha diện tích trồng chè và gần 2.000 ha diện tích trồng cây ăn quả, bước đầu huyện đã hình thành được một số vùng sản xuất hàng hoá tập trung, tạo ra sản phẩm nông nghiệp đặc thù, có lợi thế gắn với chế biến, cho năng suất, chất lượng và giá trị kinh tế cao. Đến nay, đã có gần 500 ha cây ăn quả chủ lực của huyện được cấp chứng nhận VietGAP. Riêng với sản phẩm na, hiện nay toàn huyện có khoảng 540 ha trồng na, với gần 140 ha đã được cấp chứng nhận sản xuất theo tiêu chuẩn VietGAP, sản lượng toàn huyện đạt khoảng 4.500 – 5.000 tấn mỗi năm.
Thực hiện chỉ đạo của UBND tỉnh, Sở Công Thương đã tích cực phối hợp với UBND huyện Võ Nhai tổ chức Lễ hội Võ Nhai mùa na chín thuộc Chương trình xúc tiến, kết nối tiêu thụ sản phẩm na và nông sản tỉnh Thái Nguyên 2023. Chương trình diễn ra trong 2 ngày (11- 12/8) với quy mô mở rộng 24 gian hàng trưng bày sản phẩm na Võ Nhai và các sản phẩm OCOP, VietGAP tiêu biểu của các huyện, thành phố trên địa bàn tỉnh.
Chương trình nhằm tăng cường hoạt động xúc tiến thương mại, kết nối cung cầu sản phẩm, giúp cho các doanh nghiệp, hợp tác xã, hỗ trợ nông dân quảng bá, giới thiệu sản phẩm, tìm kiếm đối tác, khách hàng trong và ngoài tỉnh để hợp tác, phát triển sản xuất kinh doanh, tạo động lực cho phát triển thương mại, dịch vụ. Từ đó tạo sự lan toả, thúc đẩy phát triển sản xuất, tiêu thụ, phát triển thương hiệu thương hiệu để nâng cao giá trị sản phẩm nông sản của Thái Nguyên; thông qua đó đẩy mạnh thực hiện cuộc vận động “Người Việt Nam ưu tiên dùng hàng Việt Nam”, góp phần quan trọng cho sự phát triển nông nghiệp, nông dân, nông thôn, tái cơ cấu ngành nông nghiệp theo hướng hàng hoá, hội nhập sâu rộng và hiệu quả.
Chương trình đã nhận được sự quan tâm lãnh đạo, chỉ đạo của cấp uỷ, chính quyền từ tỉnh đến cơ sở, góp phần tạo sự lan toả, thúc đẩy quá trình sản xuất, tiêu thụ, nâng tầm thương hiệu và tinh hoa sản phẩm na Võ Nhai cũng như các sản phẩm nông sản tỉnh Thái Nguyên. Tại chương trình, đại diện các doanh nghiệp và địa phương đã ký kết Chương trình hợp tác kết nối và tiêu thụ sản phẩm nông sản tiêu biểu.
