Sáng ngày 25/3, tại Quảng trường Võ Nguyên Giáp, TP. Thái Nguyên, Hội Liên hiệp phụ nữ tỉnh (LHPN) phối hợp với Đoàn thanh niên cộng sản (TNCS) Hồ Chí Minh tỉnh Thái Nguyên tổ chức Lễ Khai mạc Ngày hội giới thiệu, kết nối tiêu thụ nông sản an toàn cho phụ nữ, nữ thanh niên vùng dân tộc thiểu số miền núi năm 2023.
Tham dự Lễ Khai mạc có đồng chí Dương Văn Tiến, Ủy viên Ban Thường vụ, Trưởng Ban Dân vận Tỉnh ủy; Nguyễn Thanh Bình, Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh; lãnh đạo Hội LHPN, Đoàn TNCS Hồ Chí Minh tỉnh; các ngành đoàn thể của tỉnh và đông đảo hội viên phụ nữ, đoàn viên thanh niên trong tỉnh.
Đây là hoạt động trong kế hoạch của UBND tỉnh về thực hiện Dự án 8, giai đoạn 2021 – 2025 “Thực hiện bình đẳng giới và giải quyết những vấn đề cấp thiết đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em” thuộc Chương trình mục tiêu Quốc gia phát triển kinh tế – xã hội vùng đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi. Dự án nhằm thực hiện mục tiêu nâng cao nhận thức, thay đổi định kiến, chăm lo đời sống vật chất, tinh thần, bảo vệ, chăm sóc phụ nữ và trẻ em, thực hiện mục tiêu bình đẳng giới và tập trung giải quyết có hiệu quả một số vấn đề cấp thiết của phụ nữ, trẻ em vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi.
Ngày hội có quy mô 56 gian hàng với sự tham gia của các đơn vị đến từ Hội LHPN, Đoàn TNCS Hồ Chí Minh các cấp tỉnh Thái Nguyên, các doanh nghiệp, các HTX, mô hình khởi nghiệp của phụ nữ và nữ thanh niên, hộ kinh doanh trong và ngoài tỉnh. Ngày hội được tổ chức nhằm giới thiệu, quảng bá và tăng cường kết nối tiêu thụ sản phẩm nông sản của phụ nữ dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi, đặc biệt là nhóm phụ nữ, thanh niên yếu thế và phụ nữ, thanh niên mới khởi nghiệp. Qua đó, thu hút sự quan tâm, nâng cao nhận thức của xã hội về vai trò của phụ nữ, thanh niên trong quá trình phát triển kinh tế, xã hội của địa phương.
Ngày hội còn là nơi tôn vinh, quảng bá, giới thiệu, tiêu thụ những sản phẩm đặc trưng, tiêu biểu do phụ nữ, nữ thanh niên các địa phương sản xuất, chế biến, kinh doanh, góp phần nâng cao giá trị sản phẩm và niềm tự hào hàng Việt Nam. Tại Ngày hội, rất nhiều sản phẩm nông nghiệp được sản xuất, chế biến từ các mô hình phụ nữ khởi nghiệp, nữ thanh niên vùng dân tộc thiểu số lập nghiệp đã được giới thiệu và bày bán tại các gian hàng.
Ngày hội diễn ra trong 3 ngày từ 24/3 đến 26/3/2023. Trong thời gian diễn ra Ngày hội, nhiều hoạt động ý nghĩa sẽ được tổ chức như: Tuyên dương nữ thanh niên tiêu biểu và sinh viên 5 tốt; ra quân hưởng ứng phong trào chống rác thải nhựa; tổ chức giải đi bộ những bước chân vì cộng đồng; tuyên truyền chuyển đổi số, ngày hội sáng tạo sinh viên và thanh niên; tổ chức chơi các trò chơi dân gian…
